From four eggs to one chick left in the nest, this little sparrow family has been a joy to watch. While protected from the weather, this nest, located by the front door, had some annoying human neighbors. I'm glad they stuck around.

This is my friend Larry Kinglet. He keeps me company at work. Technically, he's just enjoying an easy meal, but I really enjoy seeing him outside the window.

It was a snowy walk in the park today. We saw a magnificent pair of bald eagles. Unfortunately, my phone was buried in the inside pocket of my coat, so I had to settle for a picture of the park.
