Just another day working on RDi 9.6. #ibm #rpgle
A chat message exchange between two people. The first message is a screen capture of several lines of code in the IBM code editor RDi - two lines are flagged as errors that are actually valid code. The second message is a gif of Ron Swanson from Parks & Rec with the caption "I know more than you". This is because the RDi code editor has not been updated sufficiently to recognize the keywords being used in the code sample so it doesn't know that this is valid code. It might know that this was valid code if we were using the more modern release of the editor, but then we'd have to move to subscription licensing instead of permanent licensing for the product, and subscription licensing is exploitative and anti-consumer.
