Reason:
Ever since a concussion last year, I have issues looking at screens for long periods of time. I want something to assist with digital commenting on student papers. I do not want to give the students audio files, however. Also need FERPA compliant app.

There are several practice management companies integrating AI to help with these types of issues. I have not played with them yet, but might be worth looking at. Or use document automation software. Not everything has to be GenAI.

I admit the legal companies that were founded around law (E.g. Lexis, Westlaw, etc.) have much better terms for their AI products since they understand (and often share) our ethical obligations.

I forgot that I was going to share this prompt with you. I had my students run an earlier assignment through chatgpt with this. We then looked at one that I ran and talked about how it was changing statutory language & terms of art, but helped elsewhere. Use with careful thought was the lesson.
