I’ve been struggling with not being able to find joy in anything lately. I truly think it is tied to what is happening in this country (and now outside of it). I honestly don’t know if we ever recover. Too many people are consumed with hate. My heart breaks for these soldiers and their families.
1/ The US Government has quietly removed a memorial to Black soldiers who died in World War II from the Netherlands American Cemetery in Margraten, South Limburg. The move follows a complaint from the right-wing Heritage Foundation to the American Battle Monuments Commission. ⬇️
