Sadly, being able to parallel park on a wide open street was the final boss of getting a CDL, and I believe it’s only gotten worse from there. I would support merging onto the 110 South North of Downtown as an absolute requirement, along with navigating the 6 way stops in Beverly Hills.

I assume it varies by country/city—but plenty of the people (at least in the US) turning to podcast bros could have reached a doctor or pediatrician within the week if not the same day— instead they fell into conspiracy theory cults where they enjoyed believing they were smarter than their doctors.

Many of these people would have a hard time even digesting an abstract on the mRNA studies, let alone the full paper. The cardinal sin is trusting randos on the internet (or MMA fighters) selling you deworming meds instead of your doctor, public health researchers, or the FDA.

One of the main things I learned in the Trump era was that a surprising number of people prefer to be told comforting lies (including ones that will kill them) instead of confronting uncomfortable truths.
