Decided to bust out my beads for the first time in a long time to make some little sprites as a late valentines present for friends ^^

Instead of reaping souls though, I reaped goodies! Here's my itsy bitsy con haul - some cute stickers and two sets of earrings! UNFORTUNATELY ya girl had her earrings out all weekend and the damn holes closed up! But we move on and we learn. ^^

Skipping day one cause nunya and into day two! Started off strong by coming with a pal ( @kerbumble.bsky.social )! They wanted to play in the Katamari Damacy tournament. They not only beat The Prince (who was cast aside by the King of Cosmos for failure), but won the whole tournament!

Lessons learned from first time face painting- a little less water on the brush and quicker, more even brush strokes will do wonders. Sadly the fangs wont be part of the cosplay they dont actually work with my dental work ;~;

Number 1: I Saw The TV Glow

This movie saved my life. Every time I want to write something about this movie I devolve into a gibbering mess before I've reached the end of the third sentence. It's happening right now. #1 with a bullet as any movie can be. I hope I can put down why properly someday

Number 2: Hundreds of Beavers

The Substance is why I love movies, but Hundreds of Beavers is why EVERYONE loves movies. The most crowd-pleasing movie imaginable. Except it isn't imaginable! The technical and artistic skill in this is unthinkable to me and I want to devour how they made every frame!

Number 3: Good One

The most stand out performance of the year for me in Lily Collias. This movie is so delicate and yet so heart wrenching it's able to weave so much character into the smallest moments. Nothing speaks to me more than movies exploring the things we do and don't say to one another

This is why I fell in love with movies as a teen. Stuff like this. This is all the right kinds of nasty I want. This is pop. This is malice. This is gleeful destruction. This is gore. This is an even newer flesh. Hell yeah
