We Are Watching offered an intriguing premise w/its blend of cults, prophecy, & conspiracy theories, but it ultimately fell a bit short of its potential. The suspense, which should have been gripping, felt passive as the “watching” group didn't instill a deep sense of fear or urgency. 3⭐️ #booksky
