I’ve seen a few companies online that make feet accessories (pricey though) for older machines. If you remember the model of the Kenmore you could try to see if anyone is remaking the feet with a snap on attachment. Also try searching for a shank adapter.

Is it not a straight stitch foot? Different manufacturers have slight variations in looks.
