Is that really still an issue nowadays? I think modern resin and FDA printers are pretty much plug-n-play. (Though it is a good idea to familiarise yourself with safety aspects before choosing/buying/using one.)

I'd use Sweep+Prune for slow-ish objects, buckets or hashes to fast moving objects. You can also use a bit map for early rejection.

Good for them, though looking at the trailers this can't have been cheap to make. I wonder what the break-even point for this is.

There was even software to make grayscale pictures from b/w screens by taking a long exposure, and by showing parts of different brightness for a different duration.
