My only point was that a kind of blueberry (the only true kind :-)) was know in Europe at the time. Nothing else.

Wikipedia: "..the earliest known English use of the name "blueberry" dates back to 1594, appearing in the Acts of Parliament of Scotland....". I am sure that in danish 'Blåbær' is far older than the introduktion of American Blueberrys in Denmark. I do realise that is not what are debating :-)
