MY dog, the dog I’ve begged for for 10 years(!!), abandoned me for my son in about 3.6 seconds. The betrayal 💔🥺 At least he’s still at home, so the dog stays, too 😒

Sharon Kay Penman has a fiction great series on the spies that worked for Eleanor of Aquitaine. She has a lot of historical fiction (not the smutty stuff-no judgement, just wasn’t necessary for the plot), but that one is a favorite.
