A marvelous afternoon in a true Art Déco gem - the magnificent Van Buuren #museum and #garden in #bruxelles, almost entirely in its original state from the interwar period 🤩

These people clearly had too much money, and stepping inside feel like time travel to the 1930s.

Several chairs are visible at the table and in a corner. A smaller table by the window is set as if to commence an elaborate breakfast. Around the walls and actually inside them, little glass-protected shelves display special pieces of porcelain and other small items. The rugs are multicolored and show geometrical plant designs in black, pink, teal, yellow and white. Two pairings are visible in the walls next to the window - still lives in gold-colored frames. Everything is very 1930s.
