After the fires in LA, Gavin and I met so many owners who, even while facing their own losses, welcomed neighbors inside, served hot meals, and created a sense of safety in the middle of chaos.

I’m deeply saddened by this administration’s decision to erase science and gamble with our children’s future. Greenhouse gas pollution is driving the very fires, floods, and extreme heat we’re already living through. Now is not the time to look away.

As a mom, I know how overwhelming tech can be for our kids, and how phone-free classrooms help them focus and connect. I saw this firsthand at Santa Barbara High School when I joined students, parents, and school leaders for an honest conversation about smartphone use.
