I think 3&4 are a “yes” for me. Take Buddhism for ex: if our cycles had all contained the “luck” of sharing this type of life philosophy, would we repeat the cycles as often or even at all? Would we see the “fight” itself simply as falling into the trap of expectations, samsara & suffering etc?

(2 of 2) It is,however, very interesting that Buddhist struggle with the term “self esteem” - they’ve managed to go a long way to hold back the chaos ego can wreck on the social contract.

(1 of 2) It feels like our idealism always collides with the inevitability of entropy. That, no matter how we try to organize intent, goals, values as collective will…entropy is working against that order.
