Be grateful, be generous, take pleasure in small things.
He should have been named after Gonzo, surely?

"It's good" is all I wanted to hear; I'll be back to watch the whole thing once I've seen the film :)
So glad I did that with Sinners and thank you for bringing so many great films I didn't know about to my attention!

...and now I need to go watch High Fidelity 🥰

I always felt like Urban Legend was one of the better ones of these, definitely second Idle Hands reboot!

'Divided' meaning ~20% are expected to vote against; that's weak AF, sort it out, Labour.

Anyone who rebels is having the whip removed.
So no one is allowed to hold Labour to account as long as they're not QUITE as bad as the tories? Great.
March 10, 2025 at 6:26 PM
Will it, though? Labour currently proposing cuts to social security that will decimate the rights of disabled people and they just finished fighting in court to make sure that a Palestinian family couldn't seek refuge through a scheme set up for Ukrainians - how many won't support this?
March 10, 2025 at 9:58 AM
We already know who's next - disabled and trans people :(
March 10, 2025 at 9:55 AM
These pledges were made five years ago and abandoned almost immediately he won the leadership.
Stop pretending that a bunch of people set on defunding the NHS, stripping away what meagre social security is given to disabled people and waging war on minorities are any better than tories.

His pledges form the leadership campaign in 19/20, every one has been abandoned:

I'm not expecting Corbyn to come back, that doesn't mean we shouldn't hold the PM to account when he lies or goes back on promises.
March 3, 2025 at 6:46 PM
I'm talking about the pledges he made in his leadership campaign and the various other promises he's made since becoming leader, all of which have been abandoned, even before becoming PM. When someone shows you who they are; believe them.
March 3, 2025 at 6:45 PM
Just expecting him to continue to behave in the same way he's been behaving since 2020, surely there's a word for expecting a different result after it being the same every time?
March 2, 2025 at 5:37 PM
Starmer has broken every single promise or pledge he's ever made, I wouldn't trust him as far as I could throw him on this, especially while he's simultaneously simpering over Trump.
March 2, 2025 at 5:23 PM
Yeah, if you're ringing your hands for sympathy on SM, you can get in the bin; joining your union, getting involved in local mutual aid efforts and defending marginalised communities - then you get a welcome.
March 2, 2025 at 5:01 PM
Tell me about what's happened in France since their last election. How did Starmer get to be PM with fewer votes than either of the elections Corbyn fought?
Our democracies are buggered, just not in the way he means.

The clip was great, really looking forward to seeing the full thing!
February 16, 2025 at 3:28 PM
If only the Dems could bring themselves to have a populist policy :(
February 16, 2025 at 10:21 AM
Have they fallen out of a beach bag or something? Mysterious!
