This is where I live, not far from the church. Weisenau used to be a small fishing village on the River Rhine, but it is now part of the city of #Mainz. While small fishing boats once sailed on the river here, today it is busy with container ships.

A tank depot at the banks of the Rhine.
Most of my photos have a story associated with them. Here I had to fight my way through dense undergrowth and balance on slippery rocks to get this shot. It was fun!

This is "my bridge" over the Rhine in Mainz. A railway bridge with a footpath. I cross this bridge several times a week for my morning jog and enjoy the view of the river, the skyline of the city, the ships, the clouds. It's beautiful, I love this bridge :-)
