Certainly an important task, Andrew 😉 Let's see were we stand in a couple of months, at least in terms of consistency across models. Any recommendations on how to support the model simulations with targeted observations are of course highly welcome.

Also, I’m grateful for five fantastic years in the @upgroup.bsky.social at @usyseth.bsky.social , where I was trusted to lead #RECCAP2. Those experiences and the amazing network I built are the basis for this next adventure!

🇨🇭 Big thanks to @froeltho.bsky.social at University of Bern for hosting me for this project! Working back to back with OAE experts Friedrich Burger and Hendrik Grosselindemann will greatly benefit OAEMIP.

👋 Want to get involved? Don’t hesitate to reach out — there’s still room for more modeling centers to join this important and timely intercomparison effort!

🌐 We already have some fantastic modeling centers on board! Excited to keep working with @jhauck.bsky.social (AWI), @aoschlies.bsky.social (GEOMAR), Jörg Schwinger (NORCE Research), Raffaele Bernadello (Barcelona Supercomputing Center) & Andrew Lenton (CSIRO).

🧑🧑🧒🧒 Looking forward to teaming up with David Keller and @mtyka.bsky.social to make this project a reality.

Thanks for multiplying, @pfriedling.bsky.social! I'm happy to discuss if some approaches can be picked up in the GCB. For example, to address whether the ocean carbon sink in a particular year was weak(er) or strong(er) (than expected).
