Summer break was never for sleeping in for this teacher. Got to get running or walking miles in while the temps and humidity are disgusting but not unsafe 😄 Some mornings I get a beautiful view like this one. Its at mile 2 right before I do sprints (to avoid the biting flies)

Death Valley was an amazing location for state 42 of my quest to run a half or full marathon in every state. Protect our National Parks!!

State 40 done last weekend, 11 to go. I count Marine Corps marathon as DC. The blue states are my 14 full marathons and the green are my half marathons. Less than 3 weeks until state 41 and Memphis half.
