Abortion doctors in Texas oppose SB31/HB44
Abortion patients in Texas oppose the bill
Abortion funds in Texas oppose the bill
Abortion rights orgs in Texas oppose the bill
Abortion lawyers in Texas oppose the bill
So why are TX Dems advancing the bill?

But SB31/ HB44 resurrects that dead ban.
It paves the way to criminalize abortion funds,
abortion support networks,
doctors that provide abortion information (like me),
and even people getting abortions and their families.
This bill will not help me save a single life,
but endangers many.

These long haul diseases are rough. Next month will be eighteen years since I got post-viral Severe ME & I’ve never improved- I just get worse every year & now I’m completely bed bound. It’s hard not to feel stuck & hopeless.

That fear is the same for so many of my disabled friends. They’re coming at us from all sides with Social Security, SNAP, Medicaid, & Medicare cuts as well. Your disabled friends are not ok right now. We are resilient but there are no bootstraps with the engineered poverty of SSI. Check on them.

Phew, I’m glad it’s not the scarier causes of thunderclap headaches but I imagine that level of sinus infection is exhausting & worrying I hope the antibiotics do their thing & her recovery is swift.
