We chose banned books for book club: “Me, Earl, and the Dying Girl”, and “Left hand of darkness”. Joe Hill’s short story was my favorite book from this month. 💙📚

I loved this one. And also Green Day “Dookie”. And then there are the sound tracks-“With honors” and “Reality Bites”. Seems all my top 90’s music is from 1994.

Throwback to the 1980’s when my parents entered a Meijer photo contest for a trip to Disney. Sadly, our photo did not win. I think my sisters and I had fun climbing into grocery bags in the trunk.

Tomorrow is the Michigan High School Water Polo State Tournament. My senior and sophomore both play. It has been 4 years since the team qualified. This year they caused an upset to the predicted rankings and made it. I’m so excited that my boys get to have this experience together ❤️
