Guess which bookstore I supported today? Hint, the other one didn’t have this sign and isn’t pictured.

There’s a Bald Eagle sitting in the tree above our chicken barn. It’s a massive bird. I don’t mind it coming to visit if it takes one of our many roosters.

I pulled out this WIP with stripes and tiny pops of color tonight. Spent most of my time counting stitches, trying to remember how brioche works, and cursing dropped stitches, but overall happy to have it out again. It will be a Base Camp Shrug pattern by Sosu Knits, yarn by Tippy Tree Yarns. 🧶 knit

Inspiration is something I’m struggling with. I got this sticker in the mail last night and remembered that there are good people doing good work, you just have to find them. I don’t think Maddie is on bsky yet, but you can find the BadAss Quilters Community on Patreon.

Monday Morning for #fiberuarychallenge
The best part of any morning is coffee and picking out hand knit socks. These socks have the same brilliant pink as the top I wore today, so they were the chosen ones.

Day 2, #fiberuarychalleng I’m looking forward to this pink fluff (I love pink!) AND connecting with more knitters, spinners, and quilters.

I’ve got one strand too tight up near the ribbing, so these don’t fit. Bummer. Anyone know how to fix without frogging?

When you buy a farm, accumulate animal friends, and then so many animal friends pass in a short period of time because they are all older. 😭
Lost my favorite goat last night. She was 11.5

The sheep babies belly up to the hay bar tonight. It’s warm here and we have no snow, so I’m feeding them just enough … they think they are starving.
