Spotify’s top artists if taking the Jan-Oct timeframe to be true so that confirms for me that the top albums list was falsified by Spotify if taking that timeframe to be the correct one for all list…

And the last 365 days on last.fm looks like this (hence why I mentioned Hayley initially). Either way, Lily did not actually make my top 5 this year regardless of the timeframe…

Changing the date range to January-October and Lily still isn’t beating Hayley. Seriously what is this, Spotify? I only have Spotify scrobbling to last.fm and nothing else and no there’s no duplicate scrobbles either.

Would love if Spotify can explain why Hayley Williams’ (an independent artist now) album was bumped from my top 5 albums in favour of Lily Allen’s. My last.fm data doesn’t lie (date range set from 1/11/24 to 31/10/25).
