Twitter 2.0 under Elon is beyond misleading. To those who don’t know, Twitter 1.0 videos used to have two types of views. One for the video and one for the tweet. Elon removed the one for the video, which tends to be a lot less than tweet views if that makes sense.
“Don’t forget that Elon swapped out video views for impressions (calling them “views”) to juice viewership numbers, and now every deluded Tucker fan thinks his show got 50M views. Meanwhile, Elon & Tucker know the truth, but per usual are happy to play pretend to fool the plebes.”
