2 years ago @drsamjlewis.bsky.social and I were commissioned by the CPS to explore ethnic disparities in charge rates in England and Wales. We found difficult to explain disparities that in some cases went over 10pp. Since then the CPS has been looking into the potential causes of such disparities.
