It will take years for much touted new supply to actually filter into the housing system and be available - this budget is missing immediate relief for those languishing on social housing waiting list, what about rent caps, subsidies and support for those struggling now?

The state budget is entirely dependent on increasing house prices - pushing house prices up improves NSW budget position, the budget has been saved by the housing crisis - and yet who is 'saved' and who 'pays' for this incredibly cooked system?!
