Nerves a bit jangly about tomorrow’s elections in Germany. Luckily Theo is a calming, peace-loving presence. Let’s all be more like Theo 😻

My godmother taught me to knit when I was a child. When my goddaughter was born, I decided to offer to teach her when she was old enough. We’ve had happy knitting times together that brought back happy memories for me, too. 🧶
Few years later I picked up knitting as well (far more painful for me to learn, what was I supposed to do with my HANDS), and more yarn than I ever know what to do with. What's your origin story?

Just finished my first ever pair of socks. They turned out as non-identical twins, so I shall love them equally but in very slightly different ways 🧶

Knitting group meets tomorrow, yay! We knit shawls and blankets for people in need of comfort or solace, but also in times of joy and celebration. Can’t wait to see what everyone’s been working on. 🧶

Wir waren in Bonn dabei, 25.000 andere auch. Das war großartig.

The vine is reddening, but one plucky sunflower has decided now is its time to unfurl.

First day here feels like the first day of school: getting to know the place, finding new friends, realising there’s still lots to explore.
