Not sure if I’d like that! Would have to try to make sure though.

What’s a bubble tea?

Ah, thank you for the tips. I shall experiment and see what works. I was excited to find something quick to grow that I may like. I don’t like most other fast things like radish or turnips.

I’ve just bought some seeds. I’m hoping for something more than this!

That’s some of them. Also, crown prince, and a butternut.

That looks amazing. Love the colour. I usually make raspberry jelly as I don't like the pips. I then use the pulp with apple peelings to make an apple and raspberry jelly (my favourite jelly).

That's an interesting looking bud. I thought at first glance it was infested with aphids!

I can’t remember off the top of my head. I will let you know tomorrow as I need to sort all the plants out!

Sounds good. Can’t wait to see what they all look like. Fingers crossed that you get a good harvest.

What have you gone for. I have a couple of new courgettes this year. One a climbing one.

Not sure about handsome, but he’s very cute.

I ate my second one today! I think my mum picked a handful of them. Nothing quite like homegrown ones.

Exactly. We stink at growing swedes, so I let someone else grow them. There is no shame in that. I buy British veg as much as possible and that is good enough for me. If something doesn't go right I always say to people 'Tesco do a nice line in fruit and veg'. I grow what I can, with what I have.

I really hate the term self sufficient. It's practically impossible if you want variety in your diet. I do try though to be sufficient in some things, such as beetroot, runner beans, french beans. I don't have the space to be sufficient in everything so I aim for a couple of things.

I recon you will get and it is an estimate about 3-3.5kg of beans. 50-60g per plant. If you know how many you eat then you can work out the number of plants needed.

We had rain last night. The plants looked so much bigger and better today.

Brilliant thank you.

Light weight 🤣😂🤣

That’s good to have spares. I’m gonna have about 60 spares! Will give them to the horticultural societies I belong to.
