Good thing he’s telling citizens when they have a better life … because it might be hard to know otherwise, like from the evidence. Telling ppl when life is better and what is good without them having to think is probably the only way they still have a base of supporters.

So true!! But also, that would be a later stage sign that our democracy is in trouble. I think there are steps that we can take to protect our democracy now so we never ever get there. I think we should not be complacent now so we never even come close to that!

Hi, Canadian here. This kind of news coverage is depressing to me. I get trying to be objective but this is madness not a “less likely option”!! 1 year ago this would have sounded insane and now it’s just two options, perfectly normal day here, nothing to see. It’s normalizing imperialism.

I haven’t used it in teaching but I also have a son who is in high school who imputed his notes for psychology class and then listened to a podcast it generated based on his notes. It seemed like a good way to add in studying to tasks like driving to school.

Can someone please write an unbiased, more accurate book on Vance’s life and contemporary influences (like Thiel!)? People need to know who he really is.
