People only have the attention and worry I give them and I’d rather put that towards filling my word processor with at least 750 words than focusing on things happening in other countries that I have no control over.
I hope my neighbours can find their own peace and control today and those to come

This is so true with so many forms of labour, it’s ridiculous. You could replace writers with sex workers or warehouse workers and publishing with the respective industries and it would be just as great advice ❤️

I agree that it’s ok to not be ok but I also feel like a lot of that feeling of not being ok can be helped by understanding what is out of your control and focusing on what is so you can apply your effort and feel hopeful through that.
