That is *exactly* how I read it: they have monkeys driving trucks now? I mean, I know driverless trucks are a thing...Had to read it out loud a couple of times before it (kind of) made sense.

I'm wondering if life is a crazy quilt for these people--I mean, do they order all these samples simply to make "free" quilts with them, or to lower the overall costs of their quilts?
Quite curious what store this is

Damn right it does! Surely we all know, already, not to mess with anyone's back zipper

Oh, so now they're doing "Sophie's Choice." Can you imagine being this lawyer, put in this position? How about the banality of it all? Quiet voices, the little bit of laughter from the masked man as he explains "if you don't choose one, I'll take them all." Fuck these fucking fuckers. It's evil

Thank you for making me remember this. Lynda Barry has a 1992 cartoon called Super Right On. Her character Maybonne asks her mom to name the Beatles, and Mom says:

1. Curly
2. Moe
3. Roger
4. Swirley

I love this so much!

I was out in front of our NOAA campus today with approximately 1000 other people today protesting DOGE cuts; it was heartening. Hundreds of people protested at the Tesla dealership in the nearby town of Superior 2 days ago. Vermonters told Vance he wasn't welcome. Let's bring this energy to DC now!
