But then OSDE did not renew the grant. Our district decided to find the money in our budget to pay for our LMHC. He has a full state of appts from 8-230 on Tues/Weds/Thurs. this has helped our kids abd our teachers tremendously.

I think it’s a noble idea and a step in the right direction. I’m not sure that one will even come close to covering it. Most of the kids that truly need mental health help need in school counseling opportunities by LMHPs. We got the counseling grant and found one for our school. It’s amazing.
