THANK YOU for standing up and speaking out!

If you aren’t already, please consider also taking your message to TikTok.

We need voices like this on that platform.

I really do think you meant well, but let’s maybe be mindful of what is really happening with that comment.

Comparing POC is not a good look.

Weekday dinners will no longer be the same for me. That breaks my heart.

I live alone, but Mondays-Fridays, I didn’t eat dinner alone. Every night at 7pm Joy-Ann Reid joined me for dinner & helped me understand what happened in the world. Kept me informed, honest.

Where you go, we will follow.

All we are hearing everywhere is coming from politicians, pundits, etc.

Ppl can’t relate to that& the opposition isn’t gonna trust/listen to them.

Ppl listen to those who remind them of themselves. Yall gotta stop talking about how it’s impacting people, and start talking to those impacted. TYa

Love you, Don!
I would love to see folks like yourself feature everyday Americans impacted by Trump‘s actions
👩‍🌾Farmers in red states left out to dry after USAID got the ax.
✏️Principal who can’t make a final payment on new buses because the funding was pulled.
🏞️Fired Park Ranger, who went viral
February 17, 2025 at 11:32 PM
E.g., interview the park ranger who went viral after losing his job. Don’t talk about it, have him on the show. Then get those clips on TikTok.

Analysts, pundits, politicians, etc. are not who the general public trust or listen to, they don’t relate to/-trust them.

Please start featuring everyday Americans from both sides of the aisle impacted by Trump’s actions. Get quick clips onto TikTok.

Red State farmers impacted by USAID. Federal workers who have been laid off (not high-ranking, attys, etc.).

Love y’all, but you’ve gotta get out of the echo chamber.

Sorry, one more thought…

We need media to speak to how the public can get involved.

People wanna get involved, they just don’t know how.

Congress has their hands tied in many ways, I think the grassroots force would be strong if we had some sort of guidance.
February 16, 2025 at 12:10 AM
Additionally, having tonight‘s guests, also speak to how the public can get involved… More of that!

People wanna get involved, they just don’t know how.

Congress has their hands tied in many ways, I think the grass roots force would be strong if we had some sort of guidance.
February 16, 2025 at 12:08 AM
I applaud you for bringing some federal workers who have been impacted by these job cuts on the show.

We have had weeks of pundits going on about legal/illegal, this/that. We know, it’s outrageous!

But it’s time the media start giving this constitutional crisis faces & names.

Don’t worry about Gulf of America rn. He hung his mugshot in the Oval-who cares? Let him.

Media is picking up EVERY bread crumb distraction he drops & then chews it like cud.

Why did multiple shows cover Elon standing over Trump in the Oval? Who is the coverage for? Go talk to impacted people.
February 15, 2025 at 2:40 PM
@goangelo.bsky.social FINALLY! Thank you for saying Democrats need to spend less time pulling on door handles at DoE & instead go interview hospital staff, researchers, etc. whose ability to provide care has been kneecapped.

Talk w/ the farmer who was impacted, etc. “How dare he” is not a defense.
February 15, 2025 at 2:33 PM
I’m begging yall, start talking to real Americans suffering the effects of Trump. ‬

‪Media is all “Gulf of America”, “did you see how Elon standing in the Oval Office emasculated Trump?”‬

‪Focus on how this is hitting real people. ‬

Shelf the pundits. Give those impacted a platform.

Agreed. These events, esp when carried out at this scale (nationally), have organizers/sponsors.

There’s a cause identified (e.g. march against cabinet picks). There’s info on safety precautions, portajohns, deescalation marshals.

This event is being questioned by many now. I’m not attending.

To be fair, 51 is not old by any stretch.
Also, who tf is Ken Martin?!?

Great show, all!

PS, if I may, we do NEED Democratic leadership to speak up or pass the mic. Moral is low and fear is high. We need authenticate comms on what y’all are doing to oppose Trump.

I want to see House and Senate Dems on every channel, podcast, and social media outlet. Heck, send people to Fox News. TY
February 2, 2025 at 2:14 AM
THANK YOU for using your voice! Too many of our Democratic elected officials are silent or being too cautious with their words.

We live in a time where speaking off the cuff and speaking your truths gets the message across. Not carefully curated polished comments. Keep it up!!

Hear, hear. I respect very few in your profession at this point, but you, sir, are an unwavering bastion against complacency, cowardice, and corruption. Thank you for defending us. You give hope.
