I will only review manuscripts upon your publisher clearly stating that they advocated at the NIH and the US government to reinstate the previous funding and overhead levels. I thus expect that an invitation for review will be accompanied by proof of such efforts (beyond publishing editorials).

With the dramatic changes in the current political environment in the US that tries to antagonize scientific reasoning by instructing NIH to cut indirect costs and tries to block NIH sending out money, I have to change my approach.
