Well the school year has ended…my Civics kiddos are headed on to High School and 8th grade..Lots of thank yous for teaching them their rights made me smile! Now on to a busy summer of protesting and fighting for everyone’s rights!! Read your Constitution friends!! 💙💪✌️

My Civics kiddos took their state test today and did AMAZING!!! With about 25 left to test, I am at an 85% proficiency rate!!! So proud of them!!! They know their Constitution!!!! 💙💙💙

What are my Civics students learning? We have spent the last few weeks reviewing for our final exam. Reviewing every crucial part of our government. What did we learn this week in Civics? Well…it’s review for the state exam time.My students were reviewing the Bill of Rights and I love listening to them discussing amongst themselves! Proud teacher moment as they discuss our rights!! 💙💪✌️

What did my Civics students learn this week? Supreme Court cases! Plessy, Brown, and we even reviewed Nixon v US (which if you didn’t know…says that NO ONE IS ABOVE THE LAW-NOT EVEN A PRESIDENT). Resist!! Be loud, stay on the #RightSideofHistory ✌️💙💪
