Bernie Sanders has been in the Independent party for over 47 years. Although he’s made it as a senator, he could see that he would have more opportunity to exert greater influence if aligned with a major party that shared his progressive views.

The reason some people think that way is they’ve been sold the dream that if they work really hard, they too may be able to live in that lavish way one day, and that people at the top actually deserve it. They actually enjoy seeing the wealthy engaging in such waste. Look at American pop culture!

The UK should be well-prepared for that, as it has experienced that after many a football match already. There has been a surge lately due to organized far-right hooligan groups.

That’s not necessarily true, as the US led Qatari air force base in Idaho has been in the works for several years. The base announced the plans in a press release in 2022 during the Biden administration. Source for that is CNN. It’s part of a longstanding deal with Qatar.
