and such a fragile baby would have to be monitored for months. Not having the certainty of his daughter's fate would then make Viktor fight to stay alive a little longer, maybe even consider Jayce's plan!

sorry to butt in but—OBJECTION! baby incubators first appeared in the 1880's, and by the 1920's they were being used by preemies as young as 23 weeks old, so we can guess Piltover has access to them and thus baby girl could've theorically lived longer or even be saved!
