Hi, welcome to all! I am a self-taught abstract expressionist. I have dubbed my process “emoting in color” in which I use mixed media and texture to process my emotions and tell stories. What results are pieces that are relatable and connect us as humans.

First completed sketchbook piece of 2025. It’s called Grow Anyway ✌️
Bright yellow background. A tree with a light colored trunk is full of fresh spring leaves small letter jm serves as artist’s signature. The number 25 notes the year the piece was completed. Closer view of tree trunk to show squiggly details and contrasts. Leaves can be seen in greater detail across the top of the image as well.
