I'm so happy for you! Our kids came from YVR and YOW! We haven't been together for a few years. Hubs can't travel. The cousins have so much fun together, don't they!

I hear you. We had to leave. I just couldn't stand the jet skis and snow machine treating the lake like a Nascar track. Broke my heart. Fireworks from renters EVERY NIGHT for two weeks. The lake was 2 km x 500m.

I remember all that excitement! Grabbing books, supplies, making a seating plan,organising a day book, trying to find an empty dumpster, or garbage can whilst cleaning up. You have a great year!

We had three storms go over us! The plants are happier. And the birds, bugs and bees! The goldfish pond filled up from the water barrel.

We watched the hawk on a tree in our backyard. It was keeping an eye on our released squirrel's nest box! The squirrel is named #75 during rehab.

And people started a fire by setting off fireworks on Otty Lake, near Perth. Neighbours helped until emergency crews arrived on narrow cottage roads. Shameful.
