Hi #heartsky… so yeah.. I messed up really bad and had to start over (he’s literally missing an eye because the paper fell apart) so I made sure I have the proportions and everything right before I start with the colour this time.. hopefully it works out.. 🥹❤️

lol thank you. Unfortunately I ruined it and now I have to start over but I learned my lesson and hopefully that one will be better and less stressful.. Luckily I really hadn’t done that much work on it yet.. 😩💔 I’ll be okay.

Hi #heartsky. So I think I’ve been staring at this for too long because when I look at it it doesn’t look right to me. I think I might need to walk away from it for a while, even if it’s just a couple days, unless someone can convince me I’m wrong and it is actually good. I hate when this happens 😩

Hi #heartsky! This is 7hrs 20mins of work so far and it’s literally just his face 😩 Worth it though!!! I love it so far! 🥰 And the red is slowly starting to look less weird.. 😅 Oh and LOOK what came in the mail today!!🥹❤️

Seriously that whole shoot, the lighting, the location, the styling, the model.. ✨stunning✨ These are two that I really want to draw but the details might just kill me.. 😅 that red and white wall, the stripes in his shirt, the pattern in the pants.. and then the mesh top.. 🥲 they would take forever.

I haven’t read it yet (lack of ability to focus on my part) but I’ve heard good things and the author is an amazing human being and also did all the artwork for the book.

Update!! I decided to send these two as well and I wrote him a little note. She said she’s giving it to him tomorrow. Hopefully there are no issues downloading or printing my pictures!! Eeeek! I’m so excited!!

Okay everyone stay calm, it’s actually happening. 😱😭 I still don’t know for sure which ones to send though. I counted and I have 18 drawings of him. 🫣 I’m 100% sure about these two but I feel like it’s not enough. This is really hard! 😩 but also SO cool! Ugh. #heartsky

All 35 of the drawings I’ve done so far this year (please read the alt text 😅)! Two of these were 18”x24” and one of them is the biggest I’ve ever drawn a face. I’m really proud of the amount of colour I’ve been using lately too! 🥰
