Too stressful to be worth it, I suspect.

Damn, I missed it. Couldn’t believe I was the first, so I guess I wasn’t. My second pick is already in the thread (“Kid Charlemagne”), so I’ll have to think about it.

Ooh, where in the county are they maybe breeding? I can’t remember if the NJ breeding bird atlas confirmed breeding but as I remember, they were at least suspected of breeding in Sussex Co. and they’ve been found in the Pine Barrens during breeding season.

A+ cake!

Bonus peanut! Up here on Cape Cod, they’re around all the time, so it’s harder to discern the irruptions. 🪶

That is a terrific version. It really conveys the emotions of the song. Thanks for posting it.

That just means that, when you have the book in hand, you just need to stage a photo shoot with Bisou.

That’s fair. I don’t claim to have a particularly sophisticated understanding beyond knowing what I like and being able to compare it to other pieces.
November 15, 2025 at 1:13 AM
I’d snarkily say it was because not enough people bought Bill Evans’ “Alone,” but I need to refresh my memory of “The Koln Concert.”

I don’t know. My take is that if you’re not sure about reposting, don’t do it. I waffled about posting it in the first place.
