My life has a wonderful cast, but I can't figure out the plot.
It's possible, that instead of saying what I feel it's really important -essential- to say, I should just shut the ever-loving-fuck up, and hope for the most peaceful, least agonizing, least stressful-to-my- loved-ones-outcome-possible.

I worked at a major art museum for many years, and one day we had just received a Bacon exhibition catalog. I handed it to the senior curator and casually remarked, "Francis Bacon scares me."
He looked over his glasses at me and said, sternly, "Francis Bacon is *supposed* to scare you..."
