So…we don’t want kings. But I don’t want representatives, senators, and Supreme Court justices who ignore the people and the Constitution, either. This bipartisan bickering must end. What can we do? We can VOTE. We can boycott. We can refuse to back down. #NoKings #WeThePeople #TheConstitution

I talked about banned books today with classes in the library. Students rolled their eyes and gave me “looks.” The DICTIONARY? CATS? (What’s wrong with a book about cats?) Kids know that banning books is ridiculous. Kids WANT to read. #BannedBooksWeek #IReadBannedBooks #ReadingTeacherWrites
