I cannot adequately describe how weird it was. He wasn’t creepy about it, it was like he just absolutely forgot how to human and couldn’t function without me knowing who he was, so he decided to just cut his losses and leave.

I met him once and made him take a “chi fu and the emperor” photo with me and it was one of the best moments of my entire life

Just turned and walked right out. Never saw him again.

I think about that interaction once a week.

One time Jesse Williams walked up and stared at me while I was hosting at a restaurant. I asked if he needed anything. He said no. I realized he looked vaguely familiar, and I thought “oh god have we met” so I said “sorry, do I know you from somewhere?” and he said “maybe from TV…” and then LEFT

Best: Benedict Cumberbatch. Kind, gracious, went around and personally thanked all restaurant staff when he realized he was the last table at the end of the night.

Worst: William Shatner. Rude, perpetually bitter man. As kids we were taught to stay away from him at horse shows.
