Absolutely this. When I have meltdowns, I’m being “too much” or “disrespectful”. It’s a disability. It’s exhausting being held to neurotypical standards and expectations.

Yeah, in the UK, you pay for that yourself unless you can find a copy of the book in the library. You would think paying the tuition fees would cover all of that.

The dismantling is so concerning. In the long run, I’m holding onto hope that things will work out. I went and finished my Bachelors this year & I start my Masters soon.
The way I look at it, I’m part of too many minority groups to not get one but I understand the barriers making it impossible. 😔
