The drafters of Bill 2 were overzealous about the Charter rights and freedoms it overrides. Sure, s 33 refers to s 2 + ss 7-15 of the Charter. But the Bill clearly doesn’t engage some of them. Not giving notice of the rights the Bill reasonably engages is another issue of democratic accountability.
