🌱Does anyone know if this plant is the invasive Potentilla indica (Asian Wild Strawberry)? I’m weeding an area I haven’t gardened before and wondering if I should remove it. Thanks in advance for advice!

Thirty minutes later can’t see the ground. THIS IS WHY we don’t cut back last year’s dead 🌱 foliage prematurely. The pollinators are sheltering in those hollow stems. Please 🐝 kind to insects.

I would prefer to sing, 🎶 “April showers bring May flowers”🎶. Not “White Christmas” which is what it’ll be like here in 30 minutes.

🌱 I am a rip-out-your-lawn & plant for the environment crazy gardener. Benjamin Vogt’s 3-part posts today on Instagram appealed to the rebel in me. I am not a conformist but I’d never assessed my attitude from that standpoint. Removing lawn & observing the influx of insects has brought me such joy.

The two local Canadian owned hardware stores I buy from are Home Hardware and Canadian Tire. Next week's flyers feature ... you guessed it, Miracle Gro. We Canadians, as consumers, need to educate them as to what we need in order to grow our healthy veggies and flowers.
