Nope, I guess it has to go to the House.
Apparently the CR part of this was already passed by the House, but I saw someone say that it only goes to 11/21 and to go past that the House has to come back. Very confused.

And that problem is a rich-people problem. We may not be the .1% who fly private, but airports are such a big deal during shutdowns because they are a top-9.9%-American problem, which is a top-1%-in-the-world problem.

As a friend explained:
1. Most small airports don't have air traffic controllers.
2. If they did, do you think those controllers could just be slotted in at O'Hare?
Most private airports should be closed (permanently), but the immediate problem is availability of controllers to work for free.

... because they anticipate that if they have the baby they'll move in with the father, and then they'll be common law married. So they get abortions to avoid accidentally getting married.
