Drawing at the Louvre. This time I shaded the paper and erased to get the shapes

The Louvre currently has an expo of 13th century paintings. My favorite was this detail on the bottom of a larger painting, showing Francis of Assisi, preaching to the birds.

This weekend I went to the Louvre Couture expo. They have 99 high-fashion pieces set in a theme-appropriate part of the museum, so that you can walk through the museum and see fashion along the way. There's a special map to find all of the pieces in the show.
