I saw one at the Farmers Market on Saturday. It was hideous.

It depends on if you think the 1990s is recent past, but Sinéad O'Connor was absolutely tormented for tearing up a photo of the pope in protest. This grotesque depiction doesn't even get a side-eye.

It is so sad that this is worth mentioning, but it absolutely is. Political decorum is fragile. PP could have leaned into the portion of his voters that would have eaten up conspiracy theories and questioned the outcome, but he did not. There is still a bit of normalcy in our electoral process.

I am a Canucks fan in Newfoundland. When they do well, hockey season is like permanent jet lag.

Apologies, I clicked into your profile. I have a similar photo, but taken the end of May. ☺️ Thank you for the memory prompt!

Find yourself a Mary Browns. Get a Big Mary.
You will never enjoy another chicken sandwich the same way.

I have travelled all over the world, and don't live in fear when I do. As a Canadian passport holder, I would not currently travel to the US or China. It is too easy to end up in trouble while innocently going about your business, with little hope of effective consular assistance.

THIS. Start here. So good. Don't forget to read "Holly" too!

But it’s not bad policy - this happened TODAY. Mark Carney isn’t refusing to do anything. He’s not even PM yet. 😂

I’m not sure what values I’m abandoning by telling a party leader that I’m not supporting the messaging they’re choosing when I want to see better leadership from them, but okay. 🙃

I don't speak for all Canadians, but Canadians are speaking. Read the room - the vast majority of comments on the post are in agreement. The type of rhetoric in the op is not helping our position. You don't know the policies yet, they're still in development and things change day to day.

I've been an NDP supporter, but I will speak out when I don't agree with harmful, divisive messaging. It's always been gross, but this is really not the time for it. Canadians don't want energy put into this kind of thing, we want solid strategies and solutions to a very serious problem.

COUNTRY over PARTY. If we are more unified than ever before, we expect our politicians to reflect that too.
March 13, 2025 at 1:50 AM
Don't do this. Pressure to get things done is good, but MC is not even in office yet. Political messaging like this is not productive or what Canadians will respond to in current circumstances. We need all hands on deck, collaborating together! Divisive politics is not what we want to see.

This is wild.

Can we talk about how the Captain Newfoundland getup is just a helmet with the island on the face?

Also, is there a Captain Labrador? Serious question. Well, as serious as the whole thing can be, I suppose.

Savasana! You're not just lying on the floor, you're doing yoga. Reframing it as wellness!

I'm betting on delayed openings, but not a snow day. And I could reaaaally use a snow day!

The one survivor I can recall too! Heartbreaking.

The person she went in with was pulled out alive, and is in hospital. I found that to be shocking, unless bystanders were able to get him immediately.

You don't mess around with the North Atlantic.
