Look, obviously taxes need to go up. Fine. But anyone paying attention could have told you that before 2024. So why lie so brazenly about it?
Do they think we're all stupid and can't see that the tax we pay is going up just because they've found a particularly convoluted way to do it?

Look, obviously taxes need to go up. Fine. But anyone paying attention could have told you that before 2024. So why lie so brazenly about it?

Not to mention that university bankruptcies would be disastrous for local economies in ways that would cost the state far more than they'll make from this

If you keep pushing international students away then you will force (particularly non-RG) university bankruptcies, - thereby undermining opportunities for the disadvantaged UK students you claim to be helping with this policy - unless you step in and pay even more to bail them out
